In the recipe card, I'll tell you how to grill the vegan corn on the cob easy or roast in the oven without much effort.

If you like it cooked, it is best to cook it without salt otherwise the corn on the cob will dry quickly and will not be so juicy.

    Topping

Did you know the corn on the cob that you get at fairs with butter and salt?!

Exactly those belong in the USA to the classical BBQ. However, we do not want this boring and relatively unhealthy variant, but dare ourselves to a real taste experience with these vegan corn on the cobs with a hint of lemon, the taste of fresh herbs, leave the classic corn cob in the shade.

And the best thing about it is to take some nutrients with you.

I like to prepare the sauce a few hours or a day before, so the lemon - tahini - sauce can be thoroughly nourished with fresh herbs and is full of flavor.

Tell me, how do you like your corn on the cob, which spices can't be missed?

Vegan Corn on the Cob with Parsley- Chive-Tahini

    Yield: 4 Cobs
    Prep Time: 15 minutes
    Cook Time: 40 minutes
    Total Time: 55 minutes

A recipe for a unique flavored vegan corn on the cob with a parsley, chive, lemon tahini sauce toppings which makes your next BBQ party to something special. You can make these vegan corns grilled, oven roasted, baked or just boiled. Vegan | vegetarian | oil-free | dairy-free | healthy | wfpb | plant-based | gluten-free | egg-free

    Ingredients

    • 4 cobs of corn (uncooked)
    • 2 tablespoon tahini
    • 2 tablespoon water
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
    • 1 tablespoon small chopped fresh parsley
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Instructions

    1. Soak the fresh corn on the cob in hot water for about 10 minutes. Remove and drain well.
    2. Now bake the corn in a preheated oven at 200 C for about 20 minutes or grill on the grill. Every now and then, see if the kernels are soft enough. Depending on your own taste, they may need a little longer. For the sauce just mix all remaining ingredients to a creamy sauce. I like to do this a few hours before.
    3. When the corn is ready to serve, coat them directly with the Tahini sauce and serve.
    4. Maybe make a little more sauce, depending on how much sauce you would like to have on the cobs.
