The Plant Based Tuscan cream cheese dip is perfect for game day appetizers or any time you want to enjoy an amazing, indulgent treat. The recipe was inspired by my basic homemade vegan "cream" cheeses that I make at home with love and care in order to bring the same rich flavors of dairy-based alternatives!

Substitutions
- Cream Cheese: You can make my cheese recipe or use different vegan versions like a tofu cream cheese. You could also use a vegan mascarpone.
- Sun Dried Tomatoes: Here you have the option to use oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes or those without oil. If you use those without oil, I do prefer those, then soak them first in some hot water.
- Roasted Peppers: I usually buy my roasted bell peppers in a jar, but you could also roast them in your oven. The jar option is quicker to prepare.
- Herbs: Instead of Oregano and Basil, you can also use an Italian Seasoning. The depth of flavor is up to you, how much of the herbs you want to add to your dairy free cream cheese alternative. You can also add fresh herbs instead of dried herbs.
Variations
- Spicy: Add some extra flavor like red pepper flakes to it. If you like spicy, you are going to love it. You can also add some Pepperoncini to this plant based spread.
- Lemon: Fresh lemon juice or lemon zest add some zing to soft cheeses. And you can use less sea salt in the recipe. You can also add a splash of apple cider vinegar.
- Extra Nutritional Yeast: You want some extra cheese flavor? Add some nooch to your dairy-free alternative to get the perfect vegan cheese flavor.
- Fresh Garlic: You love Garlic Flavor? Why not add a garlic note to this cream cheese. Just mince the garlic clove super finely, and you got some nice flavor.
- Black Pepper: Sprinkle Some fresh ground black pepper over this delicious spread.
- Sunflower Seeds: Do you want to add some crunchy in your spread. Add some sunflower seeds to it. Or just sprinkle some to garnish.
Equipment
You are going to need a small stirring bowl, a spoon or a whisk.
