This Vegan Cream Cheese Recipe is very easy to prepare. Simple ingredients like olives to get a Greek Flavored Cashew Cream Cheese with a very creamy texture. It does not take long to prepare this Cream Cheese. Instead of coconut oil, we are going to need coconut milk.
Who says you cannot have a dairy-free cream cheese? You won't miss the regular cream cheese, you will see this is one of the best vegan cream cheese you ever had! And the best, it is whole foods plant based!
This is a great vegan substitute for a dairy cheese! No Xanthan Gum, No Guar Gum!
This non-dairy cream cheese is great as a dip or spread on your next charcuterie board alongside with some vegan smoked salmon, herb infused olives, crackers. This recipe was inspired by my base recipe for homemade vegan cream cheese.

- Vegan Cream Cheese made with raw cashews or tofu cream cheese
- Black Olives
- Oregano
- Parsley
- Garlic Powder (optional)
- Onion Powder
Instructions
This recipe will just take minutes of your time.
Take one third of my vegan cream cheese recipe. It is around 1 cup. Add 6 large chopped olives, dried oregano, dried parsley. Give it a good stir and enjoy it on some toast!
Hint: If you want it even creamier add some more coconut milk or non-dairy yogurt.

Substitutions
- Cream Cheese: You can make my cheese recipe or use different vegan versions.
- Black Olives: I love black olives in this recipe. But of course, you can either use green olives or kalamata olives. Or do mix of all three versions. Adds a nice olive oil flavor without actually using olive oil.
- Herbs: Add different herbs. Dried or fresh herbs. Like Dill or any you like in a good Greek Recipe.
Variations
- Spicy: Add some extra flavor like red pepper flakes to this savory recipe. If you like spicy, you are going to love it.
- Lemon: Add some fresh lemon juice or lemon zest to add some zing to soft cheeses.
- Extra Nutritional Yeast: Add some nooch to the dairy-free alternative to add some cheesy flavor.
- Garlic: When you love Greek recipes like Tzatziki, you know they love their garlic. And actually I to do. You could also add some fresh garlic clove to the cashew cheese recipe.
- Black Pepper: Sprinkle some fresh ground black pepper over this delicious spread.
Equipment
You are going to need a small stirring bowl, a spoon or a whisk.
Storage
This plant based spreadable cheese will last in a sealed container in the fridge up to 2 weeks! This is great for meal prep.
You can also freeze it in an airtight container. And just thaw it the day before you need it!

Vegan Olive Cream Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 cup vegan cream cheese
- 6 large black olives
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (opt)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (opt)
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to the cream cheese and stir it until everything is well combined. Let it sit for 30 minutes in the fridge or overnight for more flavor.
