Did you like to eat French Toast as a child? Then you should definitely try this vegan French Toast version. It totally reminds of the classic French Toast. But is prepared completely without eggs or dairy products. Serve with sugar and cinnamon or maple syrup as a perfect breakfast or brunch.

You will never have to miss French Toast again. With this vegan version, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, childhood memories are awakened and can be eaten great as breakfast.

You don't need a lot of ingredients to prepare this great French toast. You have prepared the French Toast within 10 minutes. One ingredient makes this French toast so incredibly authentic.

What do I need to prepare vegan French Toasts without eggs?

    Water

    Cashews

    Medium firm tofu

    Corn starch

    Kala Namak

    Vanilla extract

    Maple syrup

    Ground cinnamon

    Whole wheat toast

How do I make vegan French Toasts egg-free?

For the cream, put all ingredients in a high-performance mixer and mix until they are creamy and without pieces.

Now dip the toasts one after the other into the cream and fry them in a pan on both sides. Sprinkle with a sugar-cinnamon mixture or maple syrup.

Tips for the perfect vegan French Toast

    • Use bread that is 1-2 days old
    • Fresh bread is quickly soaked and does not soak up the liquid.
    • Leave it in the cream until the bread is soaked so that it also softens inside.

Can I make the vegan French Toast in advance?

You can prepare the cream in advance and keep it in the fridge, so it is even faster to prepare in the morning.

It is not possible to prepare the recipe completely in advance, otherwise the bread will become too soft.

How can I serve vegan french toast?

Poor knight (french toast) is a classic recipe. As already mentioned, you can serve it with sugar, cinnamon or maple syrup. I like to eat fruit with it.

How to store leftovers of vegan French toast?

French Toast tastes best fresh. You can also keep them in the fridge and reheat them later. I would briefly fry them again in a pan so that they become crispy again on the outside.
