Easy & Quick Vegan French Toast (wfpb)

Did you like to eat French Toast as a child? Then you should definitely try this vegan French Toast version. It totally reminds of the classic French Toast. But is prepared completely without eggs or dairy products. Serve with sugar and cinnamon or maple syrup as a perfect breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread

For Dipping the slices:

  • ½ cup 120 ml water
  • 3 tablespoon 20 g cashew nuts
  • ¾ cup 150 g medium firm tofu
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Pinch of Kala Namak
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ - ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • For the cream, put all ingredients in a high-performance mixer and mix until they are creamy and without pieces.
  • Now dip the toasts one after the other into the cream and fry them in a pan on both sides. Sprinkle with a sugar-cinnamon mixture or maple syrup.
