These delicious vegan nut corners (German Nussecken) are  prepared with an  oil-free shortcrust  pastry, apricot purée  and hazelnut topping

– Whole Wheat Flour – Almond Flour – Date Paste – Almond Butter – Baking Powder – Apricots – Ground Hazelnuts – Water – Dark Chocolate (at least 70%)

First prepare the shortbread crust, the apricot puree and the nut layer.

How to make vegan nut bars

First spread the shortbread dough, next a thin fruit layer and the nut layer on top. Bake it for around 25 minutes.
