Ingredients

  • 2 cups of flour whole wheat, spelt or gluten-free flour mix
  • 200 g hazelnut flour or others
  • 1 cup coconut sugar or other sugar alternative
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons potato starch
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ cup almond butter or other
  • 1.5 cup sparkling water without flavor
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (350° F) and lay out the springform pan with baking paper or grease it slightly.
  • Now prepare the dough, to process all ingredients except the apple cider vinegar to a homogeneous dough and finally add the apple cider vinegar. Now pour in the form and bake in the oven for about 30 min. Do the toothpick test to see if something gets stuck. If something sticks, the cake has to bake a bit longer.
  • Optionally you can spread melted chocolate over it and a few freeze-dried strawberries as in the picture.
