How to make homemade almond milk with 2 ingredients

We love homemade almond milk. If you think it takes a lot of work to make almond milk yourself, I will show you here how you can quickly and easily prepare almond milk yourself with little effort. With 2 ingredients you get a super creamy almond milk that you can sweeten according to your own taste and add different flavors, e.g. Vanilla, chocolate. One of my go-to types of milk, for homemade dairy-free milk that tastes incredibly delicious.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup 60g almonds, raw
  • 4 cups ~1l water

Instructions

  • Start by soaking the almonds, take a bowl and fill with almonds and water. If you know you need almond milk the next day, just soak the almonds overnight. If you don't know, use hot water. I usually boil some water in a kettle and soak the almonds in it for 30 min.
  • Now take the sifted almonds and put them in a high speed blender and fill with water. Now blend on the smoothie or puree setting if you have such a function on your high speed blender, or you blend it for about 1 minute and 15 seconds. This is what makes the almond milk so incredibly creamy.
  • Variant 1: Now take a nut milk bag and place it in a sieve over a sufficiently large bowl. Now put the almond milk in the nut milk bag and squeeze out the liquid.
  • Variant 2: If you don't have a nut milk bag or you want less effort, use a French Press. Pour in the almond milk and slowly press down the sieve of the French Press until it is at the bottom. Your almond milk is ready
