In Gro\u00dfbritannien, Irland, Australien, Kanada, Neuseeland, Kanada haben diese Br\u00f6tchen eine Tradition an Karfreitag.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;Warum werden Hot Cross buns an Karfreitag gegessen?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traditionell werden Hot Cross Buns warm an Karfreitag gegessen. Diese Osterbr\u00f6tchen mit der Kombination aus s\u00fc\u00df, fruchtig und w\u00fcrzig sind eine lange Ostertradition in Gro\u00dfbritannien. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob du frische oder getrocknete Hefe verwendest. Die Hefemischung kr\u00e4ftig umr\u00fchren und ca. 10 Minuten stehen lassen. Jetzt bereite die restlichen Zutaten f\u00fcr den Vorteig zu. Wenn die Hefe arbeitet, gebe das Mehl in eine R\u00fchrsch\u00fcssel und mischen es mit dem Hefewasser, bis es gut eingearbeitet ist. Lasse es 12 Stunden oder \u00fcber Nacht bei Raumtemperatur stehen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Presse die Orange und gebe den Saft mit den getrockneten Fr\u00fcchten in eine Sch\u00fcssel. Lasse sie auch \u00fcber Nacht einweichen. Die Orange abreiben und f\u00fcr den n\u00e4chsten Tag aufbewahren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der n\u00e4chste Tag:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;Mische die Cashewbutter mit dem Wasser bis es cremig ist und gebe alle Zutaten inkl.&nbsp; Vorteig in eine Sch\u00fcssel einer K\u00fcchenmashine mit Knethaken. Nun den Teig ca. 10 Minuten kneten, bis er glatt und weich ist. Dadurch geht der Teig sp\u00e4ter besser auf.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nun die Fr\u00fcchte und die Orangenschale einkneten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Den Teig eine Stunde gehen lassen. In dieser Zeit sollte der Teig doppelt so gro\u00df sein.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Den Teig noch einmal kurz kneten. Den Teig in 8 gleiche St\u00fccke teilen. Hot Cross Buns daraus formen. Knete&nbsp; dazu den Teig so, dass die glatte Seite nach oben zeigt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Legen Sie nun die Br\u00f6tchen auf ein mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Backblech, das in den K\u00fchlschrank passt. Lassen Sie die Br\u00f6tchen abgedeckt an einem warmen Ort f\u00fcr ca. 30 Minuten gehen und legen Sie sie dann \u00fcber Nacht in den K\u00fchlschrank. Am n\u00e4chsten Tag k\u00f6nnen Sie die Br\u00f6tchen aus dem K\u00fchlschrank nehmen und auf Raumtemperatur erw\u00e4rmen lassen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Den Backofen auf 185 \u00b0C vorheizen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F\u00fcr die Kreuze das Mehl mit Wasser vermengen, bis du eine Masse hast, die du durch einen Spritzbeutel dr\u00fccken kannst. Nun jedes Br\u00f6tchen mit einem Kreuz auf der Oberseite versehen.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jetzt die Br\u00f6tchen f\u00fcr ca. 20 min backen. \u00dcberpr\u00fcfe ab und zu die Farbe der Br\u00f6tchen. Sie sollten nicht zu dunkel und nicht zu hell sein.
